Minerals Species: Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Magma Mine, Superior District, Pinal County, Arizona.
Description: Tabular rhombohedral barite crystal on gray matrix. The barite crystal is opaque brown in the center with a 1 mm transparent brown outer zone. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Robert P. Bates (1926-2008) collection #72.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x15x10 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 14 mm.
Price: $18 (plus shipping).
