Minerals Species: Diamond (0.54 carat yellow macle-twin crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Diamantino, Mato Grosso, Brazil.
Description: Triangular macle-twin crystal of fancy yellow natural diamond with 2 minute graphite inclusions. The triangular shape is the result of Spinel-law twinning and resembles a trillion cut diamond. The lustrous faces and shape catch the light well. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x6x2 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 6 mm.
Price: $345 (plus shipping).
